Function to Favorite Templates

We will all have different templates that we use most regularly. I would like the chance to favorite or pin my favorite templates to the top.
I don't like having to scroll through them each time. I know I can search but I can't remember the names of all of the templates I want.
Example: a bit like how trello (image attached) let you star your fave boards and also show you the recently viewed.
Even recently viewed would be great.
